The ZvReceiver lets the ZvRemote and ZvKeyboard “talk” to your computer via its USB connection. Most wireless keyboards or mice provide you with a small plastic receiver that plugs directly into your USB port. Unfortunately, that approach limits the radio range, as placement of the receiver can significantly affect performance. ZvReceiver connects to the PC through a 1.5Meter cable allowing for optimal positioning, and an adjustable antenna extends the range as well. Lights on the ZvReceiver and the ZvRemote help you position the ZvReceiver optimally.

Each ZvReceiver can be paired with up to eight different ZvRemotes or ZvKeyboards for simultaneous control from different locations in your home.

  • Wired connection for optimized placement.
  • Adjustable antenna.
  • Works simultaneously with up to eight ZvRemotes or ZvKeyboards.
  • Plugs directly into a USB input on your computer.

ZvReceiver Features (Model #ZF1101-NA)
Feature Description/Benefit
Flexibility
  • Allows whole-house control of computer
ZvRemote works via radio frequency so its commands can travel through walls and floors to operate your computer from across the house.
  • Supports multiple devices
Allows simultaneous connection of up to eight ZvRemotes or ZvKeyboards.
Easy Setup
  • No special software required
The ZvReceiver is compatible with industry standard Human Input Device (HID) protocols, which means that your computer does not need any additional software to allow the ZvRemote or ZvKeyboard to control the computer. This also means that any application that is designed to be compatible with these standards will "just work". Just plug the ZvReceiver into a spare USB port on your computer, and the computer will automatically configure the device for use.
  • Pairing is easy
ZvRemotes are "paired" with ZvReceivers through a simple process. Simply push the Connect button on the ZvReceiver, and then press and hold both the Back and Info buttons on the ZvRemote for five seconds. Both devices will blink their lights when they are paired. From that point forward, that ZvRemote will only send commands through that ZvReceiver. Any older parings are forgotten. Each ZvReceiver can be paired with up to eight different ZvRemotes or ZvKeyboards simultaneously for operation from multiple rooms.
